CSRD — Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive

Requires companies to publish sustainability information in their management report in accordance with the ESRS, based on double materiality and subject to external assurance. Following the 2025 "Stop-the-clock" Directive, the waves after the first were postponed by two years; the Omnibus I package then narrowed the obligation to companies with more than 1,000 employees and more than €450 million in net turnover, excluding listed SMEs.
